Ashwini Ahuja is a fiction writer and columnist to several publications. He contributes to more than two dozen magazines, dailies and periodicals from time to time, uninterruptedly. He has published more than 500 articles in different periodicals and dailies both in English and Hindi. He writes both in English and Hindi simultaneously. His fiction is interesting, funny and enjoyable to read. Some excerpts of his novel CLAMOUR has been serialized in a Mumbai based weekly tabloid THE VERDICT. Though, novel is yet due to get published in a book shape, Ashwini wants to polish it nicely before finally go to publishers. Apart from fiction, Ashwini Ahuja writes on the varieties of subjects- viz. career, youth, fashion, health, lifestyle, management education, politics, current affair, trends & society. In Hindi, he has published three books- two fiction books and one book of poetry. He lives in Fazilka, a tiny city close-by Indo-Pak border. Presently, he contributes to Glittering India (Mumbai), The Observer of Management Education (Mumbai) and Supremacy (Mumbai) regularly and to The Verdict (Mumbai) & Greater Kashmir (Srinagar) occasionally.

He is the alumnus of Punjab University, Chandigarh where he earned M. Phil in Hindi in 1988-89 after completing post graduation from prestigious DAV College, Abohar. Later, he taught MA Hindi classes in the same college for some two years. At Abohar, he topped in MA Hindi examination and chose to Hindi writing as a pastime. Later, he switched over to English fiction and features writings in magazines and dailies. He was conferred three awards- Luxmi Narayan Dubey Award, Pt. Shankar Prasad Tripathi Award and an accolade from Language Department, Punjab for best Hindi story writing.

Ashwini Ahuja started his career as a Hindi teacher at DAV College Malout (Punjab). He also worked in M. R. Government College, Fazilka and Gopi Chand Arya Mahila College, Abohar. Presently, he is a Hindi lecturer at GSSS, Fazilka. Since, he ardently desired to write English fiction and features writing in English, he earned his post graduation in English Literature from Bikaner University, Bikaner. At university days, Ashwini Ahuja acted in Shakespeare’s play Macbeth at Tagore theatre, Chandigarh which earned him accolade in press as an artist apart from an author but Ashwini was godly-destined to be only writer so he could not grow himself as a drama artist.
